11 mercenaries, soldiers killed in Afrin

People's Protection Units (YPG) carried out two operations in Afrin, killing 11 mercenaries and soldiers of the Turkish occupation army, thus increasing the number of the killed of the Turkish occupation since the beginning of resistance in Afrin to 2,538.

Our units continue to carry out military operations against the Turkish state mercenaries and their soldiers in the framework of the second phase of the resistance in Afrin. YPG units carried out a series of qualitative military operations against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries. The operations carried out in this framework on 26-27 were as follows:

On 26 July, YPG units detonated an explosive device on the road between the villages of Basla and Kobaliya in Şêrawa district of Afrin canton, where five soldiers were killed and a military vehicle was destroyed.

In an operation carried out by YPG units on 27 July against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the center of Afrin city, as a result of the operation five mercenaries were killed, including the military police branch and the other is a soldier.

On the same day, YPG carried out an operation in Qeretepe village of Afrin city, and no precise information yet reached about this operation

Thus, the number of mercenaries and Turkish soldiers who were killed by our units during the fighting in Resistance of the Age rose to 2.538.
