In order to keep the tourist sites protected and clean for the public, the Directorate of Tourism in al-Jazeera region launched a campaign of clean-up in order to preserve the archaeological sites and nature reserves visited by the public for hiking.

In this context, the Information Office of the Directorate of Tourism, located in Qamishlo city, told ANHA agency that the campaign- which began on July 24, 2018 will continue until the completion of the cleaning of all sites and natural reserves in the region.

And on the mechanism of work and their activities in each region the Office added "We coordinate with the people municipalities in each area and district of cooperation, and the beginning of our campaign was good and fruitful in Hiyaka Nature Reserve of Girkê Legê district he said everyone is working hard to show the aesthetics of their area."
