Water Department solved problem of water pollution in Dêrik

In response to a request of Khirka and Soor neighborhoods of Dêrik that there is a minor pollution of drinking water, the water department in Dêrik sent a committee to detect the wells that feed the neighborhoods mentioned drinking water to know the source of pollution.

After detecting of the wells, it was found that a small amount of diesel fuel leaked out of the fuel tank of a citizen and leaked through the water hose near the reservoir to the water network.

The co-chair of the water department, Mohammed Amin Haji, confirmed that the department, after revealing the source of the leak, started to intervene quickly and solve the problem by emptying the garbage of water and pumping water in order to clean the main lines.
