Abu Omar al-Idlibi: We will liberate Idlib

Al-Adlibi began by saying, "everybody knows what happened in the chain of reconciliation carried out by the regime with the mercenary gangs in all Syrian territory, which led to the transfer of all those who reject these reconciliations of mercenary gangs to Idlib."

Al-Idlibi said that the displacement was carried out with international complicity, especially from the United Nations, which sponsored many of these reconciliations, this has increased the complicated situation in Idlib. The most important thing here that most groups transferred to Idlib are of Islamic character, and most of them are supported by Turkey-backed Muslim Brotherhood.”

“On the general situation in Idlib now, it is divided militarily between two main groups, the first Failak al- Sham and some other groups, all of which are attributed to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hayat Thrir al-Sham " Jabhit al-Nusra earlier.

He described the role of Turkey as "malicious," stressing that it supports the twin parties mentioned above and that it creates conflicts between them, and continued "All this aims to achieve their interests, and the citizen remains a victim in Idlib of this complex structure."

As for Idlib's relationship with the Astana agreement, he said, "Idlib is part of Astana agreement signed by Turkey, Russia and Iran, and any attack on Idlib will defeat the Astana agreement and this has many consequences, so I do not think the regime is capable of this, but we do not know the final form of the agreement, may be the temporary battles are taking place to demarcate the final borders of the convention.

He added that Idlib's situation is completely different from the situation of other areas Homs, al-Gouta and Daraa, as Turkey considers it a back garden and any clash in it will constitute an unprecedented wave of displacement to Turkey because there is no other sanctuary, as in the case of Homs, al-Gouta and Daraa, so Turkey will put all its efforts to prevent such attacks. "

"We have recently noticed a major change in al-Jolani's policy, he is trying to get closer to everyone and pressure his mercenaries to change their extremist approach now until they are merged with the mercenaries of Failak al-Sham.

He said that Turkey would have to collect heavy weapons from all Idlib province and put them under its direct control and that this is difficult to achieve.

Abu Omar said that the current fate of Idlib is subject to the Astana agreement "if no other agreements are concluded." It is known that the terms of this agreement have been implemented for some time., where abu al-Dohor airport and other areas east of the rail road were handed to regime and other areas where some of the Turkish occupation army had been deployed in as the main roads will be under the joint control of Turkey and Russia, and the rest of the areas will be under the guardianship of Turkey.

"Unfortunately, the situation of the citizen in Idlib has not been taken into consideration. Many have become displaced from their homes and because of the difficult economic situation, many have to work with mercenary gangs in pursuit of their livelihood," he said.

In another matter, he said, "Turkey is seeking to undermine the establishment of a democratic federalism in the area; it is seeking to negotiate with the international forces for this and is willing to sacrifice its mercenaries to undermine this democratic project. Turkey had already sacrificed its mercenaries in al-Gouta and east Idlib in order to occupy Afrin ".

Abu Omar confirmed that Idlib's fate will remain dependent on the Russian-Turkish understandings, and which its final form is not yet clear.

At the end of his speech, Abu Omar al-Idliby addressed the people of Idlib and promised that they are working on the liberation of Idlib, saying: "Idlib was and is still an important part of Syria and we have already pledged ourselves to liberate it from terrorism and the Turkish occupation and we are still on this covenant and will spare no political or military effort in achieving this, and we call on our people in Idlib to take their caution, and distrustful of the Turkish side, which seeks to achieve its interests and projects in the area at the expense of Syrian blood. "
