Construction of French cultural center in Amouda

After a number of visits by Asia Association which includes a group of French intellectuals and artists to Rojava and northern Syria, and their knowledge of the diverse culture of the peoples of the area, and the victories achieved by the peoples of the area and the Syria's Democratic forces over IS mercenaries, and after a series of meetings with the Culture and Art Body in al-Jazeera region and north of Syria, To establish a French cultural center in the Amouda district of al-Jazeera region .

The two sides aim to exchange culture between Rojava people, northern Syria and the French people. In order to do the work on the ground, Asia Society has submitted all the required documents to the Culture Body, and after approval the construction of the center has been completed.

The co-chair chair of the Culture and Art Body in al-Jazeera region, Berîvan Khalid, explained that after the approval of the project, a tender was announced for its construction.

According to the general plan of the center includes a gym, playground, swimming pool and galleries to display French culture.
