HPG’s operations in Qers, battles in Shernekh, Badlis

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) announced that their forces carried out a special operation against the soldiers of the Turkish occupation army in Qers. The operation resulted in killing 4 soldiers, while the center revealed the martyrdom of 3 fighters of Guerilla in Badlis and Shernakh.

The media center of Guerilla Forces published a statement regarding the operation carried out by their forces in Qers and the outcomes of the battles that took place against the Turkish occupation army in both Qalyban and Badlis.

A special operation in Qers

On July 11, the Turkish occupation army carried out a military operation in the area of Dera Sour in Kakhizman district in Qers. Our forces in the area and within their revolutionary campaign repelled the occupation forces, and on the same day, at 15:00, they carried out an operation in Horuzi hill, and that resulted in killing 4 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army and wounding a soldier.

Fighters of HPG martyred in Shernakh and Qalyban

On July 11, the occupation army carried out an attack in the area of Qalyban in Shernakh. On the same day, at about 08:00 and 11:00, the occupation forces, with air cover supported by helicopters, attacked Ataki. Moreover, the warplanes bombed Mahri, Biyarek Hill and Sinek villages.

After the bombardment, the helicopters of Skorski kind landed Turkish soldiers in the area, while the soldiers arrested, tortured and humiliated some residents of the village of Mahri.

In the aerial bombardment, two fighters were martyred while another one got wounded and captured by the Turkish occupation forces. In addition, their records will be revealed later.

A fighter martyred in Badlis

On July 11, the occupation forces carried out a military campaign in Sheikh Jumaa area in Badlis with the help of drones. The occupation forces carried out an aerial bombardment till late hours of July 12, targeting the Martyr Afrish area and Kanieh Shahidan and Ishani hills. The bombardment resulted in martyring a fighter in the ranks of Guerilla, while a wounded fighter was captured by the Turkish occupation forces. The campaign ended on July 12. The record of the martyr and the captured fighter will be revealed later.
