HPG: 10 Turkish soldiers killed in Bakur, Başûr

At least, 10 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army were killed during the operations carried out by the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) in Bakur and Başûr Kurdistan areas.

HPG's media center issued a statement revealing the results of the operations carried out by their forces against the Turkish occupation forces in different areas in Başûr and Bakur Kurdistan.

According to the statement, HPG carried out on July 8 a military operation against the Turkish army’s forces in the area between Şitazan and Mergêzer in Gever area in Colemêrg, and the operation resulted in the destruction of 4 bulldozers and fuel tankers of the Turkish army, while the Turkish army bombed the areas of Derry Cafer and Dola Orşê.

A soldier of the Turkish occupation army was killed during an operation targeted the Turkish army on Lêlikan hill in Bradust area in Başûr (South Kurdistan).

On the same day, HPG targeted the Turkish army’s units in the vicinity of Girê Xwedê related to Barzan area of Başûr Kurdistan, and the operation resulted in killing 3 soldiers of the occupation army.

The statement also said that HPG carried out on July 7 an operation against the post of Girê Şoxa in Berwari district in Sêrt which resulted in the destruction of the fortifications of the post and killing of 6 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army.
