Ceremony for Resistance of Age’s 13 martyrs in Aleppo

The Martyrs’ Families Council in Sheikh Maqsoud held on Thursday consolation ceremonies for the families of 13 martyrs who martyred at different times and places during their participation in the Resistance of the Age in Afrin canton in the period between January 31 and March 8.

The martyrs are Sefar Sori whose real name is Abdul Rahim Deiri, Zagros Halap whose real name is Hussein Fedawi, Mazloum Serbest whose real name is Abdul Qader Khudari, Dogan Mazloum whose real name is Shadi Resho, Delsoz Halap whose real name is Rezgar Bashir Ma’mo, Dejwar Khabat whose real name is Ribar Hebbo, Jan Sher Afrin whose real name is Hytham Ahmed, Doshka whose real name is Ahmed Hassen, Agid Chia whose real name is Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Kobani whose real name is Mohammed Abdullah Moso, Fidaa Walet whose real name is Orhan Qejo, Dersim Vian whose real name is Mohammed Mohammed, Mohammed whose real name is Mohammed Youssef.

The ceremonies started by holding a minute of silence. Then, a military parade was performed by the fighters of the People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ). After that, speeches were delivered on behalf of the Martyrs’ Families Council, YPG, YPJ and the martyrs’ families.

The speeches confirmed the necessity to unite the Kurdish people to stand against the colonizing states in Kurdistan, especially after the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state that is still aspiring to destroy more Kurdish cities and villages targeting the innocent civilians amid an international silence.

Furthermore, the martyrs’ families expressed their sadness for losing their sons and siblings, and their proudness of them because they sacrificed themselves for the sake of their homeland.
