PYD opens new office in al-Arisha district

PYD opened its office in al-Arisha district in Hasaka canton during a ceremony. The ceremony was attended by dozens of residents of the district and the two co-chairs of PYD Aisha Hesso and Shahoz Hassen, and members and directors of the party's office in al-Jazeera region.

The opening of the ceremony began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs' souls. Afterwards, PYD's co-chair Aisha Hesso congratulated the opening of the office to the members of the party and the people of the district.

Aisha Hesso pointed out that opening of the office in this sensitive period in Rojava and northern Syria is a very important step and she added, "The occupation forces led by the Turkish state and its mercenaries have been hostile to our people since years. And through the opening of offices, we will expand our activities so that we can overcome the current crisis together and establish life in accordance with the concept of the democratic nation."

Aisha Hesso pointed out that the unity and solidarity of the peoples would thwart the schemes of the occupiers.

After delivering the speeches, the office was opened by the mothers of the martyrs amid chanting the slogans.

Furthermore, a few days ago, PYD opened its office in al-Hol district.
