SDF: During al-Deshisha liberation, 274 of IS killed

SDF's media center issued the report on its official website which said,

Al-Deshaisha town liberation started in 3/6/2018 from 2 axes; the western axis (al-Shadadi) and the eastern axis (al-Hol). The campaign succeeded to liberate al-Deshaisha town completely and the villages and the hamlets related to it with an area of 600 Km2 in addition to liberating Tel Sefok crossing, and meeting our forces with the Iraqi forces at the borders in 24/6/2018.

The fighters have also liberated hundreds of civilians in these villages. The engineering teams have demined many mines planted by IS terrorists to disrupt the fighters' advance. Moreover, the fighters found tunnels that IS mercenaries used to use in the battles.

During the battles and clashes erupted between our fighters and the terrorists, with light, medium and heavy weapons in both axes, our fighters killed 274 terrorists, including 4 Amirs and captured 13 others.

The fighters also destroyed a Banko car, a Doshka car, 2 booby-trapped vehicles, a car that was carrying ammunition, a number of motorcycles, in addition to destroying 8 headquarters.

The fighters also inflicted IS terrorists with heavy losses in the weapons, as 6 mortar cannons, 2 obises, and 2 trenches used by IS terrorists in the battles were destroyed.

Our fighters seized weapons and ammunition used by IS terrorists:

Doshka 23, Doshka 12.5, SPG9 cannon, 13 shells of RPG7 and 3 weapons of RPG7, abooby-trapped vehicle, a large tank, 3 walky-talky devices of Hytra,  a Hummer vehicle and a large quantity of various munitions in addition to 6 mobile devices and two tanks, one of which is booby-trapped.

During the battles that broke out between our fighters and IS mercenaries, 3 fighters were martyred and 20 others got wounded.
