Absentia ceremony for fighter Şervan Zagros

The Martyrs' Families Council in al-Darbasiya district of al-Hasakah canton organized an absentee ceremony for the fighter in the People's Protection Units (YPG), Alan Ibrahim, whose nom de guerre is Şervan Zagros, he was martyred during his participation in the Resistance of the Age campaign in Afrin.

The ceremony was held in the birthplace of Şervan in Tal Lilon village, fighters of the People and Women Protection Units, members of the civil institutions and the Martyrs' Families Council, in addition to hundreds of residents of al-Darbasiya district and its villages attended the ceremony.

Participants in the ceremony held pictures of martyrs and flags of the Protection Units.

The ceremony began with holding a minute of silence. Then the speeches were delivered on behalf of the Council of Martyrs' Families by member Mohammad Khatib, on behalf of the People and Women Protection Units, led by Agiri Shinda, and by the member of Democratic Society Movement, Mohammad Nabi Kuti.

Condolences were given to the family of the martyr Şervan Zagros, and the speeches confirmed to follow the footsteps of the martyrs until the liberation of the entire Syrian territory from terrorism and occupation.

The speeches also condemned the demographic change carried out by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin.

The ceremony ended with slogans that glorify martyrs.
