Al-Tabqa people headed to Manbij to protest rejecting Turkish occupation

Hundreds of people from al-Tabqa area and its countryside headed on Wednesday morning towards Manbij to participate in the rejecting demonstration of the Turkish occupation, and to stand beside the people of Manbij and reject the existence of the Turkish occupation in the city of Manbij in addition to demanding the exit of the Turkish occupation from Afrin canton and all the territories occupied by them in North Syria.

The residents organized dozens of vehicles carrying passengers that headed towards Manbij city where a demonstration condemning the attempts of the Turkish state to occupy Manbij, which was liberated by Manbij Military Council on August 15, 2016 after 73 days of fighting against IS mercenaries, will be launched.

"We gathered here to go to Manbij and participate in the demonstration to reject the presence of any Turkish occupation in Manbij and in Afrin, we are one people and co-existent with all components," said one of the residents of al-Jarniya, north-west of al-Tabqa Muhib al-Shehab.
