Qamishlo people visit martyrs' shrines in Eid al-Fitr

QAMISHLO

At dawn, after the Eid prayer, the mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters of the martyrs went to the shrine of the Martyr Dalil Sarokhan in Qamishlo city to visit the shrines of their martyrs.

The people carried bouquets of roses, while members of the Martyrs Families' Council have distributed the sweets to the people.

People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) fighters blessed Eid al-Fitr, to their souls of martyrs.

Amuda

Hundreds of families of martyrs in Amuda district to the shrine of the martyr Ismail Hogir in the district, to visit the shrines of martyrs on the day of Eid al-Fitr. The people burned the flame of martyrs.

Derik

In Derik area, thousands of residents of the city and districts belonging to various components and clans’ notables and representatives of civil society institutions and delegations of Democratic Autonomous Administration headed since the early morning to the shrine of martyr Khabat.

In the shrine, the mothers of the martyrs distributed sweets to the children, and the trees were planted on the martyrs' shrines.

Visiting martyrs' shrines in Rojava and North Syria is an old social norm where people first go to congratulate one another at the martyrs' shrines

Tirbê Sipî

Hundreds of people from Tirbê Sipî’s residents and People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) fighters arrived in the morning to the shrines of martyr Delsher in Doker village to visit martyres' shrines.

The parents placed flowers on the shrines of their martyrs and distributed sweets to the participants.
