William Robak: International Coalition to continue support MMC

The former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia William Robak confirmed the continuation of the International Coalition’s support to Manbij Military Council (MMC).

A high-level delegation from the International Coalition had a field tour in the streets of Manbij before heading towards the Civil Administration Center and holding a closed meeting to the media with the administrators to discuss the latest bilateral agreement between the United States and Turkey on the area.

ANHA correspondent quoted from a source from the meeting that preferred not to be named saying that Robak stressed that the International Coalition would continue its partnership and support the MMC.

The source confirmed that Robak assured to Manbij people again that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army would not be allowed to enter Manbij city by any way.

There has been a recent escalation in the statements of the Turkish officials regarding the incursion into Manbij.

The Turkish Foreign Minister Shawish Oglu held a meeting with his US counterpart Mike Pompeo in Washington on Monday, and Turkey claimed that it has agreed with Washington on several items on Manbij.
