Scent of peace is missing in Afrin

The Turkish occupation seeks to legitimize its occupation. For this reason, various methods are being pursued, including forcing the remaining residents of Afrin to contact their relatives to return to Afrin and to pay money to those who can return their relatives.

Citizen ( M,A) of Afrin city's residents was a victim of these dirty methods. Some of his relatives tried under the pressure of the mercenaries to return to Afrin after they pictured it in Afrin as stable and that they live safely. So, he decided to return to Afrin, especially since many of his relatives were still there and could not leave.

However, the reality was very shocking for him. The only three days he spent in Afrin were enough to realize that he had fallen into the trap of the special war of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. Speechless, he could not help saying "The scent of peace is missing in Afrin."

Citizen (M,A) who decided to leave Afrin again three days later, tells some details of his short trip " When I arrived in Afrin, I did not see Afrin as it was, even its scent have become strange. Wherever she looked, she saw only the mercenaries spread out in the streets," he said. They ask you for money or abuse you, and they can do whatever they want without being able to defend yourself.

Citizen( M,A) stresses fear marks are clearly visible on the face of the people where they do not trust security of their property, whoever wants to open a shop may come the next morning and find nothing of their property. If someone wants to work for mercenaries, they may not pay you, and you cannot claim them."

He also reports scenes of fighting and clashes between mercenary gangs on the streets, so that no one can go out with his family to the street. "You also see daily how mercenary elements attack young people."

He added, "The elements of mercenaries constantly raid the neighborhoods and homes "When I was there, they saw how they raided Mahmudiya neighborhood in the early hours of the morning and arrested more than 150. You cannot live in Afrin under domination of mercenaries, either you are jailed or you die."

The citizen appealed through Hawar news agency (ANHA) saying not to be dragged behind Turkish special tactics and not to believe in the promises of peace, security and stability launched by mercenaries.
