The Joint Task Force announced that the Global Coalition has carried out 225 aerial raids against IS bases in Iraq and Syria in May, and 183 in April.

The American Radio of Sawa quoted from the Joint Task Force and said “the International Coalition fighter jets bombed IS bases near al-Bashir, al-Jiyare, Baghdad and Kirkuk in Iraq, and in al-Bukemal area in Deir ez-Zor in Syria.”

The statement added that the operations carried out by the Iraqi forces and SDF forces against IS gangs with the support from the International Coalition are an evidence on the continuous work to foil IS in the area, assuring that the International Coalition would reinforce its operations against the remnants of IS gangs along the Iraqi-Syrian borders and in the center of the plain of the Euphrates River.
