“SDF operations with International Coalition are evidence of IS defeat”

The Joint Tasks Force, led by Washington, announced that the operations carried out by Syrian Democratic Forces with the support of the International Coalition are evidence of the continued defeat against ISIS in the area.

The Joint Tasks Force, led by Washington, announced that the International Coalition Forces have launched 225 air strikes in Iraq and Syria last May, compared to 183 raids in April this year.

"The coalition planes carried out raids near al-Basheir, al-Jayara, Baghdad and Kirkuk areas in Iraq," Radio Sawa said, adding that on the Syrian side, the coalition raids targeted the ISIS sites in al-Boukamal city in Deir ez-Zor province, the stronghold of ISIS.

The statement added that the operations carried out by the Iraqi forces and Syrian Democratic Forces with the support of the International Coalition are evidence of the continued work to defeat IS in the area, stressing that the International Coalition will strengthen its operations against the gangs remnants on the Iraqi-Syrian border and central area of the Euphrates River plain.
