Kebsh Wasti Center activated to receive wheat crop

As the deadline of harvesting wheat approached to end in al-Raqqa, the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee re-established Kebsh Wasti Center for grains to be operated again after it would be maintained.

The grains will be received in the center in the beginning of June of this year. The center will receive the grains put in the sacks, while the operation of delivering wheat without sacks will be received at al-Sulhubiya and Bader Centers.

The manager of the Grains Center in al-Raqqa Lezgin Ali said, "We will receive the wheat at the beginning of next month, and the process of handing over the sums of money to the farmers will be 15 days after receiving the wheat."

The Agriculture and Irrigation Committee has distributed burlap sacks to the farmers for packing wheat since the beginning of the harvest at a cost of 650 S.P per sack. After receiving the wheat, 600 S.P will be deducted so that the farmer would be rent the sacks by 50 S.P.

The Agriculture Committee estimated the price of soft and hard wheat at 175 S.P for the first grade, the second grade is 173 S.P and the third is 171 S.P.
