Sit-in against Turkish invasion of Kurdistan , Afrin in Lebanon

In the sit-in organized on the International Day against the Turkish invasion of Kurdistan, dozens of members of the Kurdish community, while raising pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and pictures of victims of the massacres committed by the Turkish forces and mercenaries against the people of Afrin, and raise flags of People and Women Protection Units.

The demonstration began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the lives of the martyrs. Then a statement was issued on behalf of the Kurdish community in Lebanon, read by Jihan Qara Hassen, and said:

The Turkish occupation continues its violations and aggression, which is historically known to the Kurdish people and their holy gains. In addition to the invasion of Syrian geography because of its ambitions to extend control and seize the country's goods, and seeks to divide the Syrian society.

And what is witnessed by Afrin today and before the northern Aleppo countryside of demographic change within international silence brought the region to what it is of violations, especially against the Kurdish people, who left prey to the policies of the brutal Turkish occupation aimed at restoring its Ottoman dreams

Therefore, we in the initiative "No to the Turkish occupation of Syria" and the Syrian popular movement and with us all our people call on the international community to shoulder its responsibility towards this Turkish occupation of Syria and put pressure on the AKP to stop this occupation and ask the free world on its head the United Nations and the European Union to end the Turkish occupation of Afrin .

After reading the statement, the voices were chanting slogans saluted the resistance of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and reviving the resistance of the people and Women's Protection Units in Afrin, describing Erdogan as a terrorist and fascist.
