Qamişlo people affirmed to escalate resistance against occupation

Qamişlo people noted that the Turkish occupation strives to melt the culture and language of the people of the area during Turkification polices which are practiced by it, they also noted that they are continuing the struggle and resistance till liberating the area completely from the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

On Saturday a massive demonstration was organized in Qamişlo city on the International Day against the Turkish Invasion of Kurdistan, in which thousands of people participated, and condemned the practices of the Turkish occupation against Afrin people and the policies of the demographic change in the area. In this regard, ANHA agency met a number of people who were participating in the demonstration.

The citizen Zainab Ali said," No country has the right to attack the sovereignty of another country and to occupy parts of its territory. We, as Qamişlo people will not allow anyone to occupy our land."

While the citizen Zakia Jumaa al-Aas expressed her readiness to do everything for Afrin and get the Turkish occupation out of Afrin and added, "We would not allow the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to stay in Afrin because Afrin is for its people and whatever the Turkish occupation does, it would not achieve its endeavors and would not reach its aims."

Also the citizen Suleiman Ahmed Othman said that their participation in this massive demonstration is evidence that Qamişlo people in all its components refuse the Turkish occupation, and to support the people of Afrin and Kurdistan's other areas which Turkey tries to occupy.
