The Euphrates region said its word ...  all Kurdistan’s arenas are for resistance

Thousands of people from different parts of the Euphrates region gathered near the Free Women's Square in the western Botan neighborhood in Kobani city, the demonstration was launched against the Turkish occupation of Kurdistan's lands.

This comes after a group of academic personalities ,intellectuals, politicians, parties, associations and Kurdish and international civil society institutions signed a petition calling all governments and international organizations (the United Nations, NATO, the European Union and the League of Arab States), as well as the democratic peoples of the world to oppose Turkish aggression, and support the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan.

The people who holding pictures of Abdullah Ocelan and banners denounced the international silence about Turkish practices, especially Afrin area, began moving from the Free Women's Square towards Martyr Akeid Square, where the crowd included the people of a number of components gathered.

Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union party Dilber Yousef delivered speech said “This historic day will turn into the beginning of a stage in which we will revolt against the Turkish fascist government occupying our lands, the entire Kurdistan's arenas have been and still castles of resistance."

Dilber explained that everyone should recognize that Afrin is the main objective of every free and occupation-free individual, calling for action to be done until Afrin and the rest of the Kurdistan region are liberated.

Similar demonstrations were launched on Saturday in several cities around the world on the International Day Against Turkish Invasion of Kurdistan.
