95 young men joined SDF

The Martyr Mitan Military Academy of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) ended a training course for 95 members of the Arab component in Qamişlo canton. The course was held on behalf of the Martyr Ragheb Attiyah; a fighter in the ranks of SDF who was martyred in August 9 during his participation in the campaign of al-Raqqa liberation from IS mercenaries.

The course lasted for 30 days, during which the fighters received intellectual, political and military lessons that included various types of martial arts.

The fighters and commanders of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the families of the martyr Ragheb Attiyah, members of Tel Hamees Council and the members of the Martyrs' Families Council in the district attended the graduation ceremony.

The graduation ceremony began with performing a military parade accompanied by holding a minute of silence. The speeches were then delivered by the commander of the Martyr Mitan Academy Rouhat Joan and the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces Mazloum Shawish.

The speeches congratulated the fighters on ending the course, and considered it a rebirth of the struggle against the aggressors in order to protect the freedom and dignity of humanity.

The speeches assured, "The only solution to the crisis in Syria and the Middle East is the democratic nation's project which protects the rights and duties of all components of the area."

The fighters then swore the military oath, and the ceremony ended with holding al-Dabkah Dances on the impact of the popular songs by the participants.
