3rd Rojava exhibition for plastic arts finished by honoring participants

The third exhibition of plastic arts was finished on Sunday by honoring the participant artists during ceremonies held in Rojava University in Qamişlo city.

Under the slogan "Peoples' Art is the Voice of Afrin's Resistance," the Culture and Art Body in al-Jazeera region opened on 18/5/2018 Rojava exhibition for plastic arts in conjunction with the anniversary of the revolutionary martyr Haqi Qarar."

Dozens of intellectuals, art lovers and artists participating in the exhibition, and the co-chairs of the Culture and Art Body in al-Jazeera region Berivan Khalid and Elias Sido attended the closing ceremony of the three-day exhibition.

The activities of the third exhibition of plastic arts ended with honoring the artists who participated in the exhibition by the Culture and Art Body.

It is noteworthy that 47 artists from al-Jazeera and the Euphrates regions and Manbij area participated in the exhibition with 125 oil paintings.

Most of the paintings embodied the Resistance of Afrin and the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation against the people. The paintings also spoke about the geographic nature of Rojava, the Kurdish folklore, human suffering and paintings of pets.
