PKK condemned massacre against Palestinians in Gaza

PKK’s Executive Committee issued a written statement to the public on Tuesday, and condemned the massacre committed by the Israeli forces.

The text of the statement included:

"Jerusalem, which is supposed to be the capital of all religions, is unacceptable to be declared by Israel as its capital which means that it does not respect all religions. And the Palestinian crisis cannot be resolved through force.

The Palestinian crisis has been waiting for a solution for 100 years, and the Palestinian people and all their friends in the world are fighting for the freedom of Palestine. The Palestinian people, together with their resistance on their land, supported the struggle of freedom and democracy for other peoples. The Palestinian people supported the struggle of freedom with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). When Lebanon was occupied in 1982, PKK cadres fought with the Palestinians and 13 members in the cadres of our party were killed, and this solidarity between the Palestinian people, the Arab people and the Kurdish people continues to this day.”

The fate of the Palestinian and Kurdish peoples is similar

“PKK explained that the fate of the Kurdish and Arab peoples is similar, and pointed to the policies of the occupation and genocide followed by Turkey and Israel against them.

Despite the great struggle shown by the two peoples because of external support, both Turkey and Israel violate the basic rights of the Kurdish and Palestinian peoples, and they insist on pursuing the policy of occupation and annihilation.

Turkey, in its dirty war against the Kurdish Freedom Movement, is using the most recent technologies supplied by Israel and the United States. Therefore, the Turkish state and the authority of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) shed tears falsely on the victims of the massacres committed against the Palestinian people.”

Agreement between Kurds and Arabs

"The true friend of the Palestinian people and the Arab people in general in the Middle East is the Kurdish people and the Freedom Movement of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). PKK will never forget the support of the Palestinian people and the martyrs of 1982 who were martyred in the war against Israel. And our friendship and support to the Palestinian people will continue.

We, once again, deplore the massacre committed in Gaza and renew our pledge that the struggle of freedom for the Palestinian people and the Kurdish people will prevail against all forms of attacks.”
