Al-Qaftan: We aim to resolve Syrian crisis by dialogue

Within the framework of the series of meetings held by the Syria Future Party which introduces the people to its goals and aspirations, the party held its first meeting in al-Karama area, in the presence of dozens of people and the elders and notables of the area and its countryside.

The meeting, which was held at al- Karama School, began with holding a minute of silence, and it was followed by a speech delivered by the co-chair of the Legislative Council in al-Raqqa Abed Hamed al-Muhbash.

Al-Muhbash talked about the recent developments in Syria as he said that the battles taking place in Syria in general and the demographic change in which several countries are participating aims to serve the agendas and interests of those countries, and he said, "These countries benefited from the crisis in Syria and they are achieving their goals."

Our party aims to resolve the crisis peacefully

The head of the Syria Future Party Ibrahim al-Qaftan delivered a speech in which he defined the party's goals and ambitions, stressing that their party would play a role in resolving the internal conflicts in Syria.

Al-Qaftan pointed out that what happened in Syria was out of the power of the people and the issue became international due to the numerous interventions by the regional countries, and al-Qaftan said that their party aims to develop pluralism and the exclusion of racism.

Al-Qaftan noted, "The regional countries aim at dividing Syria and implementing its plans, under the pretext that they are helping the Syrian people, but they are using the people for their agendas' interests."

Al-Qaftan concluded, "We will not rely on meetings that have not reached a result yet like Geneva 8 Astana 9, these meetings do not help the Syrian people, they help themselves, our program seeks to unite the Syrians, our motto is jasmine not weapons, we will not carry arms, whoever held arms over seven years, that resulted in only the destruction."

Furthermore, the meeting ended with chanting the slogans that call for the unity of the Syrian people.
