Qamişlo people bid farewell martyr Roza’s corpse

Hundreds of the people from Qamişlo canton bid farewell the corpse of the fighter in the ranks of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) Roza Afrin to her last resting place in the Martyr Delil Saroxan Shrine.

The funeral began by holding a minute of silence and performing a military parade. Then, Mehi al-Din Hessi delivered a speech on behalf of the Martys' Families Council as he offered the condolences to the martyr’s family and said, "We will not give up our areas that were liberated by the blood of the martyrs and the Resistance of the Age will continue against the Turkish occupation."

Then, the commander in the People and Women Protection Units Robar Qamişlo also delivered speech in which he noted that the dreams of the martyr Laila Qassem have come true now thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs such as the martyr Roza.

Robar Qamişlo renewed the promise to follow the footsteps of the martyrs and the thought of the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Then, the document of the martyr was read and delivered to the martyr's family, and the martyr's corpse bid farewell amid the mother's trills.
