Russian media incited racism, sectarianism in al-Jazeera

In an article published by the Russia agency of Sputnik, on Saturday, it claimed that the Arab populations express their dissatisfaction with the presence of the Kurdish factions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the area, even though SDF include the Kurds and Arabs from the same area, and they are martyred in one square against IS terrorism.

It is notable that the media claimed that the Kurds impose their laws, culture and language on the people of the area, and also claimed that the area is witnessing protests against the use of the Kurdish language in the local educational institutions.

But the official language is Kurdish, Arabic and Syriac and each component receives its education in its mother tongue, whereas previously, the only language that is Arabic was imposed on all the Syrian peoples.

Contrary to the claims of the Russian media, the residents of the area took part in demonstrations condemning the Russian position which gave Turkey the green light to occupy the territories of North Syrian, and its agreement with Turkey and Iran to change the Syrian demography by forcing the civilians to leave their areas under the name of "reconciliation agreement" which is the agreement of bombing and murder.
