HPG carried out 2 special operations, killed 1 officer, 23 soldiers

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) noted that their forces have carried out special operations in Başûr (South Kurdistan) and Bakur ( North Kurdistan ) and the operations led to killing dozens of Turkish occupation army’s soldiers , and that was disclosed during a statement.

The text of the statement included:

"In the framework of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the Martyrs Agirî and Pîroz, our forces carried out special operations against the Turkish occupation army on May 10 and 11 / 2018.

Our forces carried out an operation on Xwedê Hill in Barzan area in Başûr Kurdistan on May 11 at 06:30. The forces dealt the enemy's positions blows on both sides and destroyed their fortifications. According to the information obtained, 10 soldiers of the Turkish occupation were killed in the operation. After the operation, the Turkish occupation army bombarded the area with shells.

Our forces also carried out an operation on Xeregol Hill in Çelêya area in Colemêrg city in Bakur Kurdistan. According to the information obtained, 2 Turkish occupation’s soldiers were killed in the operation.

On the same day at 16:00, our forces carried out another operation on Xeregol Hill as the Turkish occupation forces were dealt blows from four sides and their fortifications destroyed. According to the latest information, 2 soldiers of the Turkish occupation were killed. After the operation, the Turkish occupation bombarded the area with shells.

On May 10 at 15:00, our forces carried out an operation in Deştan Square of Çelê area against the Turkish occupation. Our forces launched strikes from four sides against the enemy’s positions and destroyed its fortifications. In this operation, 8 soldiers were killed from the Turkish occupation according to the information received, and 7 others were wounded. In addition, after the operation, the Turkish occupation army bombarded the area with shells.

An officer was killed in Şirnex.

On May 10, the Turkish occupation army launched an attack on Deriyê Beroj Square in Rîsor area in Şirnex city.

Our troops in the context of the military campaign that was launched in the name of Martyr Dalal and Besta’s Martyrs carried out an operation against a military unit of the Turkish occupation army, and 2 elements of the Turkish occupation army including an officer were killed.
