Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign advances, dismantles mines

Al-Jazeera tempest campaign continues to advance in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor on the 9th day consecutively in its final stage, and has advanced 21 kilometers so far at the Syrian-Iraqi borders and dismantled quantities of mines.

Within al-Jazeera Tempest campaign against IS mercenaries, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) advanced on Wednesday one kilometer along the Syrian-Iraqi borders. During the advance, the engineering teams of the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to dismantle a number of mines planted by IS mercenaries in an attempt to block the advance of the campaign.

With this advance, the campaign has advanced 21 kilometers since its launch in the final stage, and 2 kilometers has remained for the fighters to reach Bakhuz village which is on the bank of the Euphrates River.
