3 Turkish soldiers killed in guerrilla's operations

The Popular Defense Forces’ (HPG) media center noted that 3 Turkish soldiers killed in the operations which carried out in Lêlikan area in Başûr (south) Kurdistan.

HPG's media center issued a statement to the public opinion in which it revealed the results of the operations carried out by their forces on 5 May in Lêlikan area.

The text of the statement inlcuded:

"In the framework of the revolutionary campaign launched by our forces on behalf of the Martyrs Agirî and Pîroz, our forces carried out on 5 May at 4:17 pm an operation on Lêlikan Hill as they dealt harsh blows to the positions of the Turkish occupation during the operation, but the number of killed and wounded of the Turkish occupation was unknown.

In the evening of the same day, our forces carried out an operation on Kafruta Hill in Lêlikan area, and the operation led to killing 3 soldiers of the Turkish occupation and wounding 8 of them.

The Turkish occupation launched a large-scale attack on the Martyr Kawa Square in Farqin district in Amed city in Bakur (North Kurdistan) on May 2, the attack was thwarted by our forces on May 4 without reaching the Turkish occupation its goal.
