A landmine left by IS mercenaries exploded on Sunday at one of the children from Afrin who lives in Ahdath village related to Fafin district in al-Shahba canton, and severely injured in the feet.

Afrin's people who were forced to leave their land after the barbaric bombardment of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Afrin, and live in al-Shahba canton continue to suffer from the remnants of IS mercenaries. They suffer from the mines which were planted in the area.

Among the mines’ victims was 16-year-old Hussein Mohammed Shekho, a resident from Afrin who lives with his family in Ahdath village in Fafin district in al-Shahba canton after they left Afrin.

A landmine exploded at Hussein while he was touring in the yard of the house where they live in. He was taken to Avrin Hospital in Fafin district by his family, and there, the medical team treated his wounds as his feet were seriously injured.
