Three children killed, seven wounded by explosion in Jasser Abyed

The explosion, which occurred near Jasser Abyed southwest of al-Hasakah city, three children have been killed and 7 wounded.

AL-HASAKAH

An explosion occurred at 11:45 am Rojava local time near the landfill near a white bridge southwest of al-Hasakah city.

According to the Hawar news agency (ANHA), a number of children were playing in the area when the explosive device went off. According to the initial count, three children have lost their lives and seven got wounded.

The children were taken to hospitals in al-Hasakah city.

According to the records of al-Hasakah hospitals, the children who lost their lives are “Hamoud Ahmad Hussein, at 6, Saleh al-Shihada at 10, and Muna Sadiq at 10.

The wounded are “Hussein Ahmad al-Hussein at 9, whose right leg has been amputated, Gazala Mahmoud al-Khider at 10 wounded by a shrapnel in the brain, Hajer Ahmad at 11, Majed al-Hussein at 10, Khoula Abd Salmo at 13, Reen Shihada at 15, while the other children’s identity was not known.

According to medical staff in al-Hasakah hospitals, the condition of the wounded children is critical.
