Afrin people sharing suffering, 10 families share house

The people of Afrin in al-Shahba canton, who came out because of the barbaric bombardment of Turkish occupation on Afrin canton and enforced to be displaced to al-Shahba canton, and after al-Shahba was crowded, some families were forced to live in one house, sharing difficulties and living together in a spirit of partnership in their ordeal.

One of the scenes of this suffering and the spirit of partnership is the housing of 10 families in one house in Mara al-Muslemiah village of Fafin district in al-Shahba canton, and the number of members of these families 46 person distributed in 4 rooms in this house.

These families are not relatives and are residents of several villages in Afrin canton (Kuliya and Koran, which belong to Rajo) (Kakhera, Selo of Mobata district), they are associated with destiny unity, so they challenge the difficult living conditions and share daily activities to manage their life together.

In this regard, Hawar news agency met with Othman Muhammed, a resident of the house who recounted some of their suffering as a result of the Turkish occupation army’s attacks on Afrin to al-Shahba canton, he said "While I was grazing the cattle in Kuliya village, Turkish occupation missiles have targeted our village, and we went to Kobak village and there we stayed for 15 days with the people of this village, but Turkey's attacks also affected this village and I had to sell livestock for less than half of its price, and we went to the center of Afrin leaving all our belongings and needs behind us.

Othman continued, "But even the center of Afrin was not delivered from the barbaric shelling of Turkish air force and artillery, which committed massacres in the city, we went out of them to preserve our lives and the lives of our children and headed towards al-Shahba canton.

Othman said that they faced the problem of housing lack in al-Shahba, after the search, they found a house of 4 rooms in Mara al-Muslemiah, where they lived, he said "As Afrin parents, we shared the same destiny in this difficult circumstances, so we decided to share and carry the burden together, so we have 10 families living in the same house and the number of our members is 45" and they are residents of Kuliya, Koran, Kakhera and Selo, of Afrin canton and although we are not relatives, but we live together as brothers together to take the bitter with the sweet, we will remain one hand in all circumstances until Afrin is liberated and we return home."
