Martyrs Rojbîn Kobanî, Slava Ocalan’s families consoled

Dozens of Girê Sipî canton’s people offered condolences to the two martyrs 'relatives Zelkha Issa whose nom de guerre Slava Ocalan and Nazlî Ali whose nom de guerre Rojbîn Kobanî who were martyred during their participation in the Resistance of the Age in Afrin.

The administrators and members of civil institutions and military forces in addition to dozens residents of Girê Sipî attended the ceremonies raising the flags of the People and Women's Protection Units (YPG and YPJ).

The residents first flocked towards the condolence tent of the martyr Slava Ocalan that was set up in Tel Akgal village. The ceremony began by holding a minute of silence, followed by the speeches of the Martyrs' Families Council that were delivered by the administrator Kawthar Saleh, the speech of Democratic Union Party (PYD) which was delivered by the administrator Juliya Kurdo, and the speech of the martyr’s family that was delivered by the martyr Slava's mother.

Then, the people headed towards the condolence tent of the martyr Rojbîn Kobanî that was set up in al-Iskan, and there, several speeches were delivered on behalf of Girê Sipî Canton Council by the administrator Khalil Abdul Kareem, and the speech of Kongra Star by the administrator Midiya Dawood, in addition to delivering a speech on behalf of the Martyrs’ Families Council by the administrator Dêrsim Khashman and a speech in the name of the martyr  Rojbîn Kobanî’s family that was delivered by her father. 

The speeches pointed out that the martyrs are the light of our path, and thanks to the martyrs' sacrifices, we have reached this stage.

The speeches also pledged to continue following up the martyrs' approach until achieving their goals.

The ceremonies ended with chanting the slogans that glorify the martyrs.
