Yazidi Community celebrates in its holiday in Aleppo

Yazidi community living in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood organized a celebration on the occasion of the Red Wednesday holiday. The celebration was attended by members of the Yazidi community and the participation of Muslims and Christians in the neighborhood.

The ceremonial place is decorated with images that symbolize the sacred sites of the Yazidi Community, the images of martyrs and the Kurdish symbols.
During the ceremony, several speeches were delivered, including a speech on behalf of the Yazidis people by Roshin Mouses, the speech of the Democratic Society Movement by Suad Hassen, on behalf of the Christian religion Joseph Qablan, and a speech on behalf of the Muslims in the neighborhood by Sheikh Yahya al-Mahmoud, who congratulated the Yazidi community by Red Wednesday holiday.

The speeches focused on solidarity between all communities, cooperation and participation in building the nation's democratic project, and the consolidation of the concept of coexistence among all sects and peoples, affirming that every component or sect has the right freely to practice their laws and religious ceremonies.

The speeches stressed that they will work hard and do all that is on their responsibilities to support and liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.
