2nd municipal center opened in Kobanî western countryside

In order to improve the service situation and ensure the life needs for the people of the area, the local administration and municipalities in Kobanî canton, today opened a municipal center for al-Qanaya district.

The opening ceremony, attended by dozens of residents of canton, members and administrators of Democratic Autonomous Administration bodies in the canton.

The opening ceremony was started by holding a minute of silence followed by a number of speeches by the co-chair of the Executive Council of Kobanî canton Mustafa Eto, a member of the Municipals Body  Council of Kobanî canton Sheikh Ahmed, and district commune 's member Issa Haji.

The speeches welcomed the opening of the municipality center to the people of the district, and stressed its importance in serving the people and securing their needs.

The opening ribbon was then cut by Hadla Bozo, the mother of Martyr Ibrahim Buraz, who was martyred in Kobanî's resistance.

Then the audience went to the center and toured around it.

It is worth mentioning that this is the second municipal center to be opened by the local administration and municipalities in the countryside of Kobanî after the opening of the first in Binder village west of Kobanî city.
