Agency: Prohibition Chemical Weapons Organization's mission arrived Douma

Russia’s Novosti agency quoted from sources of the Syrian government saying that the experts' mission of Prohibition Chemical Weapons Organization arrived Douma city where chemical weapons were allegedly used in.

The mission was scheduled to enter Douma which was said that it has been attacked with chemical weapons on April 7, last Sunday, but the delegation’s entry delayed amid accusations of Western powers to Russia to block the entry of the mission, and the latter denied.

The French Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that it was very likely that the evidences had disappeared from the scene of the attack in Douma near Damascus, and it demanded for the international weapons inspectors to be allowed to enter the site completely and immediately.

The inspectors aim to collect samples, interview witnesses and document evidence to determine whether toxic ammunition has been used.

For his part, the British envoy to the organization said on Monday that the organization has recorded 390 claims of using banned chemicals in Syria since 2014.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that his country had not tried to manipulate the location of the alleged chemical attack in Douma.
