"Red Wednesday Holiday has meanings which embodies brotherhood ,tolerance"

The Executive Body of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) issued a written statement on the occasion of the Red Wednesday Holiday, which is on Wednesday tomorrow.
The statement said:

"In light of the difficult circumstances and the ongoing campaigns of genocide against our people, especially by the Turkish state, the events and festivals of our various peoples remain a valued and honest expression of the essence of these peoples in adhering to their original values ​​in defending their existence as well as their struggle for the will and freedom.
On the occasion of Red Wednesday Holiday, we express our truthful condolences to the Yazidi people, on the occasion of Red Wednesday. On this occasion, we express our heartfelt appreciation for the brotherhood and tolerance of the Yazidi people in Şengal in resistance and self-organization to stand in front of the recurrence of any event such as what happened in Şengal of 2014.

we hope that this holiday will be an end to the tragedy and suffering of our Yazidi people and the whole of the oppressed peoples and a new year towards stability, freedom and the building of democracy . "
