Citizen brutally tortured by Turkish occupation in Afrin

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to practice various methods of torture against Afrin's people, including kidnapping and torturing for dealing with the Democratic Autonomous Administration and People and Women protection Units.

A citizen from Chaqila al-Wastaniya village related to Shiah district in Janders area who lives in Afrin and used to work at one of the Autonomous Administration’s bodies in the services department narrated what happened after he was abducted by the mercenary gangs.

The citizen said that they were tortured during the abduction as their legs have been tied for four days, and they were beaten on the head. The citizen added, "They put my head in a bucket of water while I was hung."

As for the reasons of being tortured, the citizen said that the reason is that he was working in the service committee within one of Autonomous Administration’s bodies.

The suffering of the citizen tortured has not end here, and he did not find anyone to provide him with medical treatment after their release until one of the mothers who live next to his home managed to heal his wounds with medicines available to her.

He said before completing his story that the mercenaries asked them to work with them and communicate with all the people who know them in order to invite them to return to the city of Afrin.

According to media outlets, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have turned the village of Mydan Akbes into a prison and a large detention, in which they brutally torture the abductees.
