Political analyst Kamran Kolby noted that the Turkish expansion in the Kurdistan region is not new and emerged with the emergence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in power. - During the meeting held by the Justice and Development Party(AKP) and the Turkish Intelligence in Entebbe, Hassan Shandi was appointed head of the so-called "Afrin Rescue Council", on the proposal of the officials of al-Yekitî party under the roof of the Kurdish National Council Ibrahim Berro and Fuad Aliko. Hassan Shandi was involved in the bombing on December 26, 2013 in the garage of Afrin, which killed 4 civilians, in addition to injuring several others.
