Farouk al-Mashi :Manbij people will not allow Turkey to occupy Manbij

Hawar news agency(ANHA) held interview with the co-chair of the Legislative Council of the Democratic Civil Administration Farouk al-Mashi talking about of Turkish threats to occupy to Manbij and American delegation that visited Manbij city.

"The Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij city has worked hard to communicate its voice to international opinion, human rights organizations and the United Nations regarding the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Afrin."

Stressing that the aim of these statements was to dismantle Manbij people "These threats are old and declared by Erdogan since the liberation of Manbaj by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)."

And added "We, as North Syria people , have adopted the principle of the democratic nation as our approach, but the Turkish state has forced us to bear arms by supporting mercenary gangs and sending them to Syria."

Al-Mashi confirmed that all the tribes in Manbij realized the danger of the Turkish occupation by following the events in Afrin and the terrorist practices of the Turkish occupation army from the kidnapping and looting of civilians 's properties .

"We, as people Manbij city welcome this step because the international coalition was the main supporter of the fight against terrorism represented by IS mercenaries our delegation recently visited many delegations. Where we discussed many topics and the most important protection of Manbij city and promised not to allow the occupation of Manbijcity."

"Where Turkey was when it was IS mercenaries execution of our youth in the squares and holding our freedom."

And ended  his speech "We are confident of the Manbij Military Council, which liberated us from the IS gangs  and that it will not allow the Turkish occupation to enter Manbij."
