Rainfall doubled Afrin's people tragedy in Berxwedan camp

The people's condition of Berxwedan camp in Fafin district in al-Shahba canton deteriorated due to the heavy rain that led to leaking water into the tents and forcing them to get out and stay with their children out amid the atmosphere of cold and rain. The rains also resulted in gathering water to form in the swamps in the camp and mud that blocked the movement within the tents.

The citizen Morad Mohammed said to ANHA agency, "Our situation has become more tragic as a result of the water entering into the tents, the blankets are got wet, and we cannot sleep inside the tents, we had to stay with our children out, and we got fear of the diseases.”

Mohammed called on the humanitarian organizations to get out of their silence, pay attention to the conditions of the people in the camp, support them and improve the conditions of their tents to avoid these difficulties.

About 3,500 citizens live in this camp who have been forced to leave their city Afrin as a result of the attacks and massacres of the Turkish aggression and its mercenaries.

in the 20th of January, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries launched fierce attacks using all types of heavy and advanced weapons and warplanes. Thousands of families were driven out of their villages, towns and cities for fear of massacres committed against Afrin residents.
