Meeting held in Tel Hamis to introduce Ocalan's thought

The Women Coordination’s member in Qamişlo held a public meeting for Tel Hamis' people in the center of Culture and Art in Tel Hamis district on the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) government in Imrali Island’s prison, and hundreds of residents attended the meeting.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence, and then, the member of the Women Coordination Judy Ossi spoke about the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Judy pointed out that the thought and philosophy of Ocalan that call for constructing  the democratic nation achieved equality among the peoples of North Syria and got them away from the sectarian strife that was being lived during the rule of dictatorial regimes.

Judy Ossi explained that AKP and its mercenaries have common characteristics in demolishing the historical and civilizational foundations that span thousands of years.

Judy Ossi pointed out that women in North Syria were able to overcome the obstacles and constraints that they had faced in the society thanks to the philosophy of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Judy Ossi concluded, "Women have managed to organize themselves in the society proving themselves in the political, military and social domains in the areas of North Syria."

Furthermore, Kongra Star continues to hold a series of meetings for the people and members of institutions to discuss the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, his life and struggle.
