Turkish occupation targetes farmers, prvented them from cultivating their land

On the border between Kobani canton and Bakur villages "north Kurdistan," the scenes of caution hovering over that area, especially that the Turkish occupation army targeted anyone approaching the border.

According to the testimony of some residents of Quran village east of Kobani city the village is almost daily subjected to sniping operations, and preventing farmers from roaming freely between their agricultural land, which is a source of livelihood for them.

Citizen Jamila Na'assan, a resident of the village, said that they were exposed to the fire of the Turkish occupation army, especially with the beginning of the revolution in Rojava . Jamila says that the army entered the village several times with spurious arguments and randomly fired on the villagers' houses.

For her part, says Asmahan Mohammed that the economic situation of the people declined after the Turkish occupation army prevented the people from cultivating and plowing their land. "We can not stay in our house always there surveillance drones hovring  over the village, the Turkish army is trying to abandon us from our areas."

She also noted that the United Nations and human rights organizations partner with Turkey in its occupation practices against North Syria people because it stands in the spectator's position she said.

This is considered everything in the village as an exhibition of sniping, as the occupation army targeted sheep herdsmen and livestock last year.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation forces crossed the border of 250 meters, in conjunction with the construction of the concrete wall along the artificial border between" north Kurdistan" and Kobani canton .
