Internal Security Forces in al-Tabqa opens special center for women

Women center of Internal Security Forces "ISF" in al-Tabqa includes dozens of female members of Internal Security Forces in al-Tabqa area.

The joining of a large number of women in "ISF" has been the main leading force for such a decision to open the above branch.

With the rise of masculine mentality in society, women in al-Tabqa suffered, like other women, from persecution and enslavement, and their suffering culminated in the occupation of IS mercenaries for four years.

The importance of this center is highlighted by activating the real role of women and their proper position and proving their ability and their full readiness to maintain and protect the security of homeland and citizen by conducting night and night patrols as well as following up the files of women and investigating issues affecting the security of homeland.

The administrator of women center, Sumaya al-Thalaj, has pointed out the tasks assigned to women in this center, in addition to the importance of opening the center in the application of the democracy principle through the participation of women in the leadership and protection of society.

Halima al-Ali al-Nur, a member of the same center, explained why she joined the ISF. "I joined the ISF to defend women first."

Abeir al-Hasan, the police stations' administrator, called on women of the area to join Internal Security apparatus "to highlight their role and their ability to preserve the safety of land and people."
