YPG disclosed 7 martyrs’ record in Resistance of Age

The media center of People's Protection Units (YPG) issued a statement in which it revealed the martyrdom of 7 of their fighters including two commanders who were martyred while participating in the Resistance of the Age in Afrin.

The statement of the media center of the People's Protection Units included:

"The Resistance of the Age’s facing the Turkish occupation army and its terrorist gangs continues with all its power by People's Protection Units (YPG) and Women's Protection Units (YPJ). The resistance that left behind 78 days, and the struggle shown by our forces prove that the occupation cannot live on the soil of Afrin. Dozens of our comrades; Polat Avista and Aylan proved by their blood that this resistance against the occupation is based on the spirit of struggle.

Our comrades who were linked to their land, homeland and people until the end of their lives proved how to a constant struggle would be and how to live it.

We, as the People's Protection Units (YPG) and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), renew our pledge to them by escalating the struggle and fighting until the last element of the Turkish occupation army would be defeated from our land.
