On Saturday, Martyrs' Families Council in Girê Sipî city organized a ceremony in the Martyr Mohammed Durra Park in the neighborhood of martyr Hoger in Girê Sipî city for the children of the martyrs' families, and it distributed the gifts.

Representatives of the families of the martyrs and the institutions of Girê Sipî city, and hundreds of families and children of the martyrs attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began with holding a minute of silence followed by a speech delivered by Martyrs' Families Council.

At the beginning, the speech congratulated all peoples eager for freedom on Ocalan's birth, and said, "The children of the martyrs are the fruit of sacrifice and redemption for the land so they must be given importance to be active members in society."

Furthermore, the celebration ended with the distribution of sweets and gifts to the martyrs' children.
