Film about Tel Halaf culture produced

A number of Kurdish artists and researchers have prepared a film about the history of Tel Halaf which is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Middle East and the world.

Sponsored by Tourism and Antiquities Body in al-Jazeera region, the first historical and documentary film about the culture of Tel Halaf that is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the Middle East and the world was produced.

The film deals with the history of Tel Halaf and the cultural prosperity of that period of history that goes back to 8,000 years, and it includes the cultural, industrial and artistic renaissance of the civilization of the alliance along with a special section on the concept of mother gods in that period according to academic theories of Jînology in this regard.

The film was produced by Riwan Group for Cinema Art and the scientific research of the archeological professors Restam Abdu and Amer Ahmed, and it was scripted and directed by the journalist Alan Roj.

According to the concerned of the Tourism and Antiquities Body in al-Jazeera region, the film would be screened in the near future in Art and Culture halls in Qamişlo.
