British delegation visited Qamişlo institutions , war wounded

After the British delegation that is consisted of Lloyd Russell Moel; the deputy of the British Labors Party, Lord Morris Glasman; the senator in the British House of Commons, Simon Dibbing; the director of the International Trade Union Office, Ryan Fletcher; UK Trade Union Officer, and Ibrahim Dugos; the director of the Kurdish Progress Center finished its tours in Kobanî canton, it reached Qamişlo canton.

The delegation accompanied by the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Body in al-Jazeera region Abdul Kareem Omar visited the commune of Martyr Ramzi  located in al-Gharby neighborhood in Qamişlo city to see the working system of the communes in Rojava closely, and the delegation was received by the members of the commune.

The delegation; then, went to one of Women's Protection Units (YPJ) centers in Qamişlo city. The delegation was received by the official spokesperson of YPJ Nisreen Abdullah and the fighters of YPJ. The two sides discussed some issues related to Rojava's areas, especially violations of the Turkish occupation against the Syrian and Kurdish people and the massacres committed against the people in Afrin.

The delegation also visited the house of YPJ's wounded in the city in a move to raise the morale of the wounded. The delegation listened to the stories of the resistance of the fighters during their military campaigns against IS mercenaries, and the events that they experienced during those campaigns.

The delegation stressed that they would share the stories of the resistance which the fighters of the People and Women's Protection Units fought against Terrorism in North Syria with the British people in British newspapers and magazines.
