Celebration on Ocelan’s birthday in al-Hasakah

The Golden Crescent Movement for Culture and Art organized a celebration on the occasion of Ocelan’s birthday in the center of al-Khabour for Culture and Art in al-Mufty neighborhood.

AL-HASAKAH- Dozens of al-Hasakah people and the martyrs’ families participated in the celebration held in al-Khabour Center for Culture and Art in al-Mufty neighborhood, and the celebration’s square was ornamented by the pictures of Ocelan and the martyrs in addition to Rojava’s flags and symbols.

The celebration started with holding a minute of silence. Then, the administrative in the Golden Crescent Movement for Culture and Art Hevidar Saadoun delivered a speech and congratulated the oppressed people on Ocelan’s birthday, and Hevidar said, “Ocelan’s birthday was the beginning of a new life and the birthday of Women’s revolution.”

Then, Newroz band performed many revolutionary songs, and the songs that express Afrin children’s suffering and pains. Martyr Aziz and Martyr Berjem bands showed many folkloric dances, and at the end of the celebration, Avista band performed many revolutionary songs.
